Varsity Band – Bring your instrument tomorrow!  we are playing!  all rental money is due friday.  you still need to turn a sheet if you own your instrument just to have it on file.  forms will be available in class.  see mr. flygt if you need something.

hello everyone!

can you believe it!  WE GET TO SEE EACH OTHER AGAIN!

i recently returned from an FFT trip where i studied some more Brazilian Percussion and Dance.  it was a great time.  i was able to study with some heavy cats and work on being a better musician.  I HAVE A LOT TO LEARN!  the camp was located in the majestic redwood forests of california!

just a reminder that monday is in fact a full day of school.  advisory will be 70 minutes.

man!  school is almost back!!  WOOO-HOOO!!!  I CANNOT WAIT!

dates for marching band: more to be discussed once school begins.

-aug. 30th friday morning 7 am

-sept. 6th 7 am and 7 pm.  morning practice and evening game

-sept. 13th 7 am

-sept. 20th HOMECOMING!!  schedule to be announced

-oct. 4th 7 pm

-oct. 18th 7 pm

drumline will be every tuesday and thursday at 7 am

2nd day of camp: slam dunk

hey!

we pretty much nailed band camp today!  woo-hoo!

tomorrow is at north park university! 8 am – 12 pm

-the field is near kedzie and foster.  no jeans!

-there is a mcdonalds nearby!!  YEAH!  you can park in the lot south of McDonalds.  enter on kedzie.

-enter on albany street south of foster.  i will be waiting there with a smile.

-bring a water bottle.  we will have some things there.  they also have nice bathrooms!  YEAH!!

-you can also hit street parking on albany but must park on the side near the field.  if you park near the buildings you will get a ticket.

thanks to everyone that made it!  38 members of the band came to get down.  a group of steppers stepped.  a fantastic group of ladies waved their flags.  and some other ladies majored it up.
