Happy New Year!!!! (well almost) .. As most of you know, our band room is going through a much needed renovation .. floors stripped, sanded and 3 coats of polyurethane applied, ceiling and walls repaired, prepped and painted, chalkboard taken out and a new smart board installed etc .. remember, this is the first major renovation of our room since 1935 …. I just received an email today from Mr Ara that (as many of us figured) the room will not be ready next week and we will need to hold classes either in the lunchroom or auditorium which we will simply adjust until we can get back in the band room. I mild inconvenience but the end result will be great! So I wanted to give you all a heads up on that..
Second, as most of you know we now need to have another fund raiser to help with this renovation and after talking to classes before break most agreed to help out .. soooooo I need to know what you would rather sell from the choices below so I can get it ordered.. please send me a response by Tuesday evening on your choice.. I will go with the highest vote count per choice ….
1 .. sell 2 cases of gummy candy (worms, fish etc) 52 in each..our profit 50% per case
2 .. sell 3 cases of Hershey’s (kit kay, reeses, hershey plain and almond), 30 bars in each, our profit 50%
3. .. sell 2 cases of skittles/starburst, 48 count per case, our profit 40%
4 .. sell 2 cases of straight snickers or M&Ms (your choice and you can mix them if u want), 48 count, 40% profit
I know all students and teachers get tired of fund raisers, but the reality is we have to do them if we want to make changes and please do not think your efforts are not appreciated 🙂
Please get back to me asap on your choice of what to sell .. I can mix it up a bit
i trust you are staying warm and enjoying your break!
