EFFECTIVE Immediately (**FIRST ASSIGNMENT IS ONLY A REVIEW OF THE YOUTUBE VIDEO)

each student is to keep a detailed journal for each week of rehearsal. it is to be typed up and turned in every friday.

each entry will include the following:

– Name and Date

-A brief description of the repertoire for the week. This week we practiced breaks 1-4 and learned the pinky break for samba reggae. We also practiced moving our feet while playing our specific part

-An honest assessment on something you did specifically that was awesome.

-An honest assessment on something someone else did specifically that was awesome.

-An honest look for areas of improvement: where can I get even more into the groove? can I seamlessly go between breaks and groove without any hiccups or bumps? can I clap partido-alto?

-One thing Mr. Flygt can do better.

-a review of a youtube lesson where you will answer the following questions:
