urgent breaking news

attention all students:

if you are able to bring in a color photograph of any musician that has overdosed on drugs or alcohol you will receive a 100 for any missing assignment or test and 100 points extra credit in the real extra credit column.

it must be a color photograph and it must be turned in to me before 1st period on friday.  we are trying to get our door looking sharp before the door decorating contest is judged.

hello wonderful students!  i have to leave today at 12.  6th will meet in the band room.  there will be a sub.  please do the review “monobloco – pot pouri…” if you have not already done so.  then, please utilize the smart board – it will be on – and watch the videos i have posted.  we need to introduce our selves to marcus santos (dear friend and teacher of mine). we have an opportunity to bring him, jorge alabe, and nani to school this year.  the only way it can happen is if we all sell 2 boxes of candy.  i am putting jocelyn and scott in charge.  today you need to take 2 boxes.  consider all the cool things we can do.  thank you for everything you do.  i am having a great year.  see you friday if you are bought a ticket to unplugged.  thanks.  if not, do what you need to do.

October 20th update

Varsity Band

• drumline today
• we need to rehearse the school song.  you also need a lyre and flipbook.
• this sunday is the hockey game and halloween parade.   be at lane at 11 am for the hockey game.  1 pm parking lot.  parade starts at 2 pm.  done at 3 pm.  pizza will be provided.  wear a costume.

varsity band -take attendance (section leaders please help).  watch remaining of the documentary under resources.  we are at 36:00.  please move the smartboard forward and instruct students to move until they can see.

beginning band – take attendance.  begin documentary under resources.  on a loose leaf piece of paper students are to write down 3 things that they notice from the film and can identify.

jazz band – take attendance.  students are to complete online review if they have not done so already.  then they are to have study hall.

percussion – take attendance.  students are to complete online review if they have not done so already.  then they are to have study hall.
