Week 3 Update

Varsity Band (please read all of this)

• hope you are doing well!!  MAN THIS HAS BEEN A FUN YEAR ALREADY!!
• breaking news: the next two saturday practices will be at Marine Leadership Academy (1920 N. Hamlin Ave.) WE ARE NOW AT LEGENDARY STATUS!!  It is near pulaski and armitage!!  THIS IS THE BEST NEWS EVER!!  8 am – 12 pm.  MANDATORY!  contact me with any questions!!  WOOOO!!!!!!
• you need to get a uniform!! COME ON BY – BABY!!!   THIS MUST HAPPEN!
• open your e-mail and tell me what SHIRT SIZE YOU PREFER! 🙂
• make sure your locker is locked!!
• we are accepting clean unused/old shirts to load into the shirt launcher for pep rally!  they must be appropriate for school.

Beginning Band 

• you need to fill in the inventory!
• we will have a quiz due friday.  it will be up by wednesday in google classroom.

Jazz/Percussion 

• review due friday
• percussion will have a quiz due by then.
• monday will be in the band room

Week 2 Update/Breakdown

Varsity Band

• go out to the field.  i will have copies of the drill.  please be on time.  no instruments.
• double check lockers and instrument inventory
• bass drums thursday after school
• uniforms!!  returning brass please swing by thursday!!
• friday schedule: 4-5 pm rehearsal.  relax. go to choir concert @ 5:30 pm.  be outside J with instrument at 6:30 pm.  wear lane gear.

Beginning Band 

• Thursday we will ensure everyone is ok.
• Instrument Inventory
• Helpful Hints:
• 1) do not put instrument together until I tell you
• 2) leave backpacks by the front
• 3) when instructed put case on chair next to you.  do your best to NOT hold everything in your hands at once.
• 4) stay calm
• 5) if you have a question please raise your hand
