i just saw this on facebook from a friend (…yes i have friends…over 1,900 in fact).

when it comes to your loved ones:

Work hard.

Show up.

Listen without interrupting and ask for the same in return.

Don’t compare mistakes, don’t dig up old wounds.

Be forgiving, be understanding.

Be willing to compromise.

At all costs give more than you take.

Love can heal it all.  You just got to work to get there.
