6th period download music here (new music) for the new tune.

3rd period check grades on monday. i will be updating them over this weekend
4th – check out the brazilian rhythms 1-6 with Ivete’s video (posted earlier)
6th – F major scale treble and bass clef for tuesday. print out music by wednesday
8th – listen to NPR’s “A Prairie Home Companion,” also check grades on monday. you can listen at 5 pm on saturday right here. answer these questions:

find pictures for the following: surdo (all three), caixa (there are a few kinds), repique, chocalho, agogo, alfia, timbal. label them and put them in your binder.
due next wednesday. also, PRINT OFF THE TUNES I WANT YOU TO!!! SOME OF YOU STILL HAVE NOT!! CHECK OUT YOUR GRADES!!!
i am not sure if anyone ever watched this the first time, but here it is again.
this one is good too. 4th period try to clap any of the new 6 rhythms we learned along with this!! IT IS SO MUCH FUN!

-what is an orixa!? DUE TUESDAY!!! playing test on thursday.
4th period
-notate all intervals for example number 2 using b-flat and b-natural.
-small quiz on thursday. (notate intervals, aural skills)
8th period
– i left some stuff at school and did not get to this until now
-vocab test on thursday: chapter 3 and 4 plus 5 new tempos.
