Week 2 Update/Breakdown

Varsity Band

• go out to the field.  i will have copies of the drill.  please be on time.  no instruments.
• double check lockers and instrument inventory
• bass drums thursday after school
• uniforms!!  returning brass please swing by thursday!!
• friday schedule: 4-5 pm rehearsal.  relax. go to choir concert @ 5:30 pm.  be outside J with instrument at 6:30 pm.  wear lane gear.

Beginning Band 

• Thursday we will ensure everyone is ok.
• Instrument Inventory
• Helpful Hints:
• 1) do not put instrument together until I tell you
• 2) leave backpacks by the front
• 3) when instructed put case on chair next to you.  do your best to NOT hold everything in your hands at once.
• 4) stay calm
• 5) if you have a question please raise your hand

summer update!

hope you are well! i am still enjoying summer and studying drums in california! i will be back in chicago august 31st.

i am not sure about scheduling but some people have asked me about marching band being 5th period. as soon as i know what is up i will inform you. thanks for your patience.

with respect to fee’s this upcoming year please check the following message from Mr. O’Brien – “if they want to bring in their contract & pay their rental fee during quick start (kind of an early bird special) we will take ten bucks off and charge them 40 … the contracts are at the bottom of the “Programs” page on the website, download that, fill out as much as they can and find me during quick start and give to me”

summer update

hello everyone!!  hope you are well!!

starting this wednesday I will not be able to e-mail all the time so here is some important information.

school begins september 8th – i am pretty sure!

varsity band rehearsal saturday september 12th 8 am -12 pm.  mandatory.  more details to come.

football games:

1. friday september 25th
2. friday october 2nd
3. friday october 23rd (HOMECOMING!) STAY FOR ENTIRE GAME

that is what I have for now.  I will be updating a few more things between now and wednesday.  Please let me know if you have any questions.

camp is on tuesday! clark park

camp is on!  clark park!  7:30 am.  big session 8 am – 12 pm.  it will be there wednesday and thursday.

urgent update about camp

hello!

band camp will be monday (july 13th @ 8 am) at Clark Park.  Clark Park is west of the stadium by the boathouse.  please check your e-mail and plan on arriving at 7:30 am so we can be ready to rock.  If you need music or anything please contact me.
